A gang of teenagers attacked a man before robbing him and assaulting his three friends at a park near Loch Lomond.
Officers were called to the scene at Balloch Park, near the Balloch House Hotel at around 8.10pm on Wednesday.
A large group of teenagers between 13 and 15 years old attacked and robbed an 18-year-old man and his three friends before fleeing the scene.
The man was taken to Royal Alexandria Hospital for treatment of a facial injury before being released.
Detective sergeant Nicky Beattie from CID Clydebank Police Station said: “The park was busy at the time of the incident and we are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the assault or has video footage of the incident.”
“We want to re-assure the public regular high visibility patrols will be carried out and anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.”
“Everyone should be able to enjoy the park, and we want to ensure it is a safe place to visit.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 3665 of July 20, 2022.”
