Fresh police appeal after biker dies in crash with lorry STV

Police have issued a fresh appeal one week on from a fatal road crash between a motorcycle and lorry.

The 62-year-old male biker died at the scene of the collision in Glasgow on Saturday, August 29.

The incident happened at around 10am at the junction between Parkhouse Road and Nitshill Road.

Officers said the investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.

A full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

Sergeant John Bradford said: “Our investigation into the cause of this crash is continuing.

“A number of people stopped to help at the scene, however this is a busy road and I am sure there are other witnesses to the crash who have not yet spoken to police.

“I would urge any further witnesses, or anyone with information to come forward.

“I would also ask anyone travelling on these roads around the time of the crash last Saturday who has dashcam footage to contact us.”

If you have any information, call 101.
