A renewed appeal has been made to trace a man missing from Middlesbrough for almost a month after his car was discovered at a car park in Scotland.
Police were made aware of concern for 42-year-old Ernestas Dagys at around 12pm on Tuesday, February 27 following a report that his car had been discovered in the Mull of Galloway car park.
Searches have been carried out in the area with specialist resources, including assistance from the RNLI and HM Coastguard.
It is believed he travelled to the area on Sunday, February 25.
Ernestas is described as white, around 5’8” tall, of slim build with short brown hair.
When he was last seen he was wearing a black jacket, grey tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
Inspector Stephen Judge said: “Four weeks have now passed since Ernestas was believed to have travelled to the Mull of Galloway area on Sunday, February 25, and I am appealing for any information which may help us trace him.
“If you have been in the area since Sunday, February 25 please think back. Did you see someone matching his description? Please get in touch with any information you have.
“Ernestas, if you see this appeal, please make contact with police so we can ensure you’re safe and well.”
