Four teenagers have been arrested after a shop worker was allegedly threatened with a weapon during a robbery in the early hours of Friday morning.
Emergency services were called to the Tesco Express on Renfrew Road in Paisley at around 1am following reports of the incident.
Two boys, aged 17, and two girls, aged 16 and 17, were traced and arrested in connection with the robbery.
A BB gun was recovered by officers and an investigation is still ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1am on Friday, February 14, 2025 officers were called to a report of a robbery at a premises on Renfrew Road, Paisley.
“A member of staff was threatened with a weapon but not injured.
“Two 17-year-old male youths and two female youths, aged 16 and 17, were traced and arrested in connection.
“A BB gun was recovered.”
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
