Four teenagers have been charged in connection with a ‘disturbance’ at a park in Glasgow’s East End in May.
The incident happened at around 8.15pm on May 31 at Greenfield Park on Eskbank Street in the Cranhill area of the city.
Three 16 year olds and one 17-year-old boy will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal and the Scottish Children’s Reporter Administration.
Inspector Gerry Bryceland said: “Behaviour like this will not be tolerated. Officers carry out patrols in the area and anyone with concerns should speak to them or call Police Scotland on 101.”
STV News understands that the charges are not connected to the death of 16-year-old Kory McCrimmon.
Mr McCrimmon died at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital on June 2 after he was “seriously injured” in an incident at the park.
A 13-year-old boy was arrested and charged in connection with the incident, and appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday June 3.
