Four people are in hospital after a taxi crashed into pedestrians near Glasgow Central Station.
Police were called to Union Street at its junction with Gordon Street around 1.50pm on Saturday following reports of the crash involving a taxi and three pedestrians.
Three people were taken to hospital by ambulance and one person made their way to hospital from the scene.
Their conditions are currently unknown.
Roads surrounding the incident were closed for several hours while investigations were carried out but have since reopened.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We received a call around 1.55pm on October 5 to assist our partner agencies at Union Street in Glasgow.
“Two appliances and a specialist appliance were sent to the scene and have now left.”
Scottish Ambulance Service has been approached for comment.
