Four men who may have information about assault sought by police

Police believe that the men may have information which might assist in relation to a serious assault.

Four men who may have information about serious assault on Glasgow’s Argyle Street sought by police Police Scotland

Police have released CCTV images of four men they believe may be able to assist in relation to a serious assault earlier this year.

The incident took place at around 2am on Sunday, April 3 2022 in Argyle Street, Glasgow.

The first man in the CCTV images is described as of large build and bald.

At the time the image was captured he was wearing blue jeans and a grey zipped hooded jumper.

The second man is described as of medium build with short, fair hair and glasses.

He was seen to be wearing blue jeans and a light-blue hooded jumper.

The third man is described as of slim build with a shaved head and a short beard. 

He was wearing faded black jeans and a grey, zipped jacket.

The fourth man is described as of medium build with short dark hair that was shaved at the sides and he was wearing black jeans, a grey top and a black jacket.

Detective constable Robert Carrigan of Greater Glasgow CID said: “I would urge the men, or anyone who has information relating to any of the men depicted in these images to make contact with the police. 

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101, quoting reference number 1589 of April 6, 2022.

“Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111 where information can be passed on anonymously.”
