Four men have been charged in connection with the death of a man in 2019.
Anthony Ferns, 33, was assaulted inside his car on Crebar Street in the Thornliebank area, near Glasgow, around 10pm on Thursday, April 18, 2019.
Tony, as he was known, managed to drive the Audi A3 a short distance to his home on Roukenburn Street but collapsed.
Paramedics were unable to save him and he died in his garden in front of his mum Phyllis.
A murder inquiry was launched and hundreds of people were spoken to as officers examined thousands of hours of CCTV footage.
On Friday, police said that four men aged 37, 48, 54 and 67 years old had been arrested and charged in connection with Mr Ferns’ death.
They are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday, September 15, 2023
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal, Police Scotland said.
