Four men have been arrested and charged in connection with the death of an inmate at a prison in East Dunbartonshire.

Darren Brownlie, 47, died within HMP Low Moss in Bishopbriggs on Monday, January 6.

Four men aged 26, 30, 30 and 33 have now been arrested and charged in relation to the death at the prison.

They are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, January 29.

A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
