Four men have been arrested after allegedly being found with weapons at a house in Glasgow.
Officers received reports of men in possession of weapons in a property in the Kinfauns Drive area around 5.40pm on Sunday.
Two men, aged 25 and 28, have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and two others, aged 42 and 52, were arrested and released pending further enquiries.
Police said there is no risk to the wider public and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
The force reassured the community that there is “no risk” to the wider public.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.40pm on Sunday, May 26, 2024, officers received a report of men in possession of weapons within a property in the Kinfauns Drive area of Glasgow.
“Two men, aged 25 and 28, have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
“They are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 28 May, 2024.
“Two other men, aged 42 and 52, were arrested and released pending further enquiries.
“There is no risk to the wider public.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
