Three teenagers and a man have been injured after being attacked with weapons in Alexandria.
Four men and a woman arrived at a property in Bonhill, Braehead, around 2.10pm on Sunday and were met by four male occupants from inside the house.
A fight involving weapons ensued, and three men, aged 19, 19, and 21, and a 16-year-old boy from the house were injured.
They were taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital, where they were treated and have since been discharged.
Police say they believe the incident to be a targeted attack and have urged anyone who may have seen a car driving away from the area at speed to come forward.
The only descriptions of the people who arrived in the car are of a white man, between 19 and 22 years old, of a heavy build, with black hair and a patchy beard.
The other is of a white woman, in her 50s, with shoulder-length blond or ginger hair.
Detective sergeant Neil Allison said: “From our investigations so far, we believe this to have been a targeted attack. However, the fact that it took place on a Sunday afternoon in a very residential area is concerning.
“Officers have been carrying out local enquiries and checking CCTV, but we are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen what happened or has any information that may assist our investigation,” Mr Allison said.
“If you have any private CCTV or doorbell footage or were driving in the area and saw a car driving at speed away from Braehead around 2.20pm, then please get in touch.”
