Fire crews have been dispatched after a well-developed fire took hold of moorland on Tuesday.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service dispatched four appliances to the area close to the Jaws Reservoir in East Dunbartonshire after reports of a blaze at around 5.29pm.
Crews are still at the scene, battling the flames located on the large hillside area.
Pictures taken from a distance shows a cloud of white smoke billowing from the hill.
There have been no reported injuries.
