Four people have been charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed at a railway station in South Lanarkshire.
The alleged attack took place as the man and his partner got off a train at Hamilton Central shortly before 9.20pm on Saturday.
He suffered serious injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital by paramedics for treatment.
British Transport Police confirmed a 31-year-old man, 31-year-old woman, 16-year-old boy and 15-year-old girl were arrested this week on suspicion of attempted murder following the incident.
All four have now been charged with the offence.
A spokesperson added enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
