Four charged after man rushed to hospital following 'stabbing'

Four men have been charged after a man was ‘stabbed’ in Glasgow.

At around 10.15am on Thursday, emergency services were called to an incident on East Campbell Street in the east end of the city.

A 50-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital by ambulance after he was allegedly stabbed.

Four men, aged 32, 43, 45, and 50 have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and are set to appear in court on Friday.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.15am on Thursday, August 25, officers were called to a report of a disturbance on East Campbell Street, Glasgow. 

“A 50-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he remains in a stable condition. 

“Four men, aged 32, 43, 45 and 50, have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday, August 26.”
