A former Hearts striker will stand trial accused of assaulting his partner with a mobile phone.
Christian Nade, 37, allegedly attacked the woman at his flat in Glasgow’s Crookston on October 19, 2021.
Court papers state Nade threw the device at her head.
It is said that the alleged victim was injured as a result of the incident.
The offence is said to have been aggravated by involving the abuse of Nade’s partner or ex-partner.
He denies the single charge at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
The former footballer, who also played for Dundee, Hamilton Academical and Raith Rovers, appeared at court for a hearing on Thursday.
However, he had his trial set administratively instead.
Nade will appear in the dock at the end of the month.
