Flooding at Glasgow Central Low Level station is causing disruption for commuters at rush hour.

ScotRail confirmed a burst water pipe is disrupting services on low-level journeys, with trains unable to stop at the station.

Customers are being urged to use Argyle Street station instead.

Services to Motherwell, Dalmuir, Larkhall, Whifflet and Cumbernauld are among those affected.

Disruption is expected to last until around 11am.

ScotRail confirmed services at Glasgow Central High Level station are running as normal.

Network Rail said on X: “We’re responding to reports of flooding affecting Glasgow Central low-level station. Trains are unable to stop here, but are still stopping at Anderston and Argyle Street.

“We’ll share another update shortly. High-level services aren’t affected.”
