A Jet2 flight was met by emergency services at Glasgow Airport on Wednesday morning after a passenger required medical assistance.
Flight LS3701 from Glasgow to Agadir in Morocco returned to stand at around 8.21am after someone on board became unwell and required urgent attention.
The plane was met by airport fire crews and paramedics on the runway and the passenger was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
A spokesperson for Jet2 said: “We can confirm that flight LS3701 from Glasgow to Agadir returned to stand this morning, due to a customer requiring medical assistance.
“The customer was taken off the aircraft by medical authorities, and the flight has since departed for its onward journey.”
An Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 8.21am to attend an incident at Glasgow Airport.
“We dispatched an ambulance to the scene, and we transported one patient to Royal Alexandra Hospital.”
