Five teenagers have been charged in connection with a theft and disturbance at a Morrison’s store.

Emergency services were called to the premises on Glasgow Road in Dumbarton following reports of an incident at around 9pm on February 26.

No one was injured during the disturbance.

Three boys, one aged 15 and two aged 14, have been charged in connection as have two girls, aged 14 and 13.

All five are set to be reported to the relevant authorities.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9pm on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, we received a report of a theft and disturbance at a premises in the Glasgow Road area of Dumbarton.

“Officers attended and there were no serious injuries.

“A 15-year-old male youth, two 14-year-old male youths, and two female youths, aged 14 and 13, have since been charged in connection with the incident. Reports will be submitted to the relevant authorities.

“Officers are continuing to work with partners to address issues within the community and anyone with any concerns is asked to contact police via 101.”
