Five people have been rescued from a yacht after it caught fire near Tarbert Harbour in Argyll and Bute.
A passenger ferry and emergency rescue teams were sent to rescue the passengers on Thursday morning.
HM Coastguard were alerted to a yacht with an engine fire around 9.30am with a Coastguard helicopter and rescue teams from Crinan and Tarbert Coastguard Rescue, RNLI Tighnabruaich Lifeboat, and a nearby passenger ferry, sent to help.
Five people were rescued from onboard the yacht and taken to safety on the passenger ferry. None required medical assistance.
The yacht was then towed by RNLI lifeboat into Tarbert Harbour.
CalMac told customers that the Tarbert to Portavadie service on Thursday morning would be suspended while they assisted the coastguard on the call out.
