STV NewsFive men have been charged following a disturbance on an East Dunbartonshire street.
The incident broke out on Donaldson Street, near Muirhead Street, in Kirkintilloch around 5pm on Thursday.
Five men aged 59, 57, 53, 48 and 34 have been arrested and charged in connection with the disturbance.
Two of the men received treatment for facial injuries at the scene.
The group were expected to appear at Glasgow Sherriff Court on Friday.
Detective Sergeant Gary Boyle of CID said: “I am appealing for anyone who was in the area and witnessed the incident to come forward.
“I would ask residents who live in the area to check doorbell footage and motorists to check dash-cam footage, you have may have captured something that can assist our investigation.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting 2609 of Thursday, February 27, 2025.”
