Five people have been charged in connection with a disturbance after reports of a group with weapons in Argyll and Bute.

Officers were called to Old Luss Road, at Williamson Drive in Helensburgh around 5pm on Saturday, February 22 to reports of a group in possession of weapons.

Police say no injuries have been reported at this time.

Three men, aged 17, 21 and 37, and two women, aged 42 and 44, were arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

They are all due to appear in Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday, February 24.
