Five cars have been deliberately set on fire on residential streets in the southside of Glasgow.
Several burnt-out vehicles could be seen on Herriet Street and Maxwell Road in the Pollokshields area of the city on Tuesday morning.
Police believe the fires were started deliberately and an investigation is under way.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.35am on Tuesday, 17 August, officers received a report of five cars on fire in the Herriet Street and Maxwell Road area of Glasgow.
A joint investigation with Scottish Fire and Rescue Service is now under way and the fires are believed to be wilful. Enquiries are ongoing.”
