Firefighters have been tackling a house fire which broke out in the early hours of the morning.
At the height of the incident, up to 40 firefighters with eight appliances were dealing with the blaze on Dykesfield Place in Saltcoats, Ayrshire.
The fire service said fire crews were met with a “well-developed fire” when they arrived at the scene just after 1am on Friday.
There were no reports of any casualties.
Two appliances were still at the scene six hours later.
