Firefighters tackling blaze with city streets closed off

Firefighters are tackling a blaze in a property in the southside of Glasgow.

Crews were called to the scene at South Annandale Street at around 11am on Thursday.

Appliances were mobilised and work to contain the fire is ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11am on Thursday, November 2, 2023, police were made aware of a fire in the South Annandale Street area of Glasgow.

“Officers remain at the scene providing assistance to SFRS colleagues.”
