Firefighters are tackling a blaze that broke out at a house in South Ayrshire in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Six fire engines were sent to the scene in High Street, Ayr, when the alarm was raised at 2.15am.
Two appliances were still at the scene at 8am as firefighters dealt with the blaze in a terraced house.
There have been no reports of any injuries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson warned: “Following a fire overnight in High Street, Ayr, various road closures are in place affecting New Bridge Street, Sandgate and High Street, all Ayr.
“Pedestrian access in the area is also restricted at points.
“All closures will be reviewed throughout the day. Please avoid the area.”
