Firefighters are tackling a blaze which has broken out at a derelict building in Glasgow.
The fire broke out around 8pm on Thursday at a building on Duke Street in the Dennistoun area.
Smoke could be seen billowing from the fire from across the city and there were reports a loud explosion had been heard.
Six appliances were sent to the scene where a derelict building had been engulfed in flames.
Firefighters remain at the scene.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “We were called to an incident at Duke Street in Glasgow at 8.40pm on Thursday.
“Operations control mobilised six appliances to a derelict building and crews are currently in attendance.”
Police are in attendance and have cordoned off the area.
