A gun has been discovered in a derelict pub that’s set to be demolished in Glasgow.
The firearm was discovered on the site on Balgrayhill Road in Springburn at around 3.40pm on Thursday.
The Talisman pub has lain empty for more than two decades but an agreement for it finally be demolished was reached earlier this year.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We can confirm that a firearm was found in a derelict building on Balgrayhill Road, Glasgow, around 3.40pm on Thursday, April 8.
“It was safely recovered and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
