Fire crews have extinguished a blaze at a chicken farm in Clackmannanshire.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called to Ochilview Farm, near Tullibody, after a fire broke out at around 1.58pm on Saturday.

Four appliances and a specialist resource were mobilised and crews successfully extinguished the blaze.

No injuries were reported and crews left the scene after ensuring the area was safe.

It is unknown at this stage if any livestock were affected as a result of the fire.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 1.58pm on Saturday, November 11, to reports of a fire within a farm building at Ochilview Farm.

“Operations Control mobilised four fire appliances and a specialist resource to the scene, where crews are extinguished the flames.

“No casualties were reported.

“Firefighters left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
