Fire crews locked down a road in Glasgow after a car crashed through a barrier into a flat.
Emergency services closed down Albert Drive, in the city’s Pollokshields area, after a crash involving one car at around 5.18pm on Tuesday.
Images shared with STV News show a car badly wrecked after crashing through a metal gate, knocking over a bin and smashing a ground floor flat window.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service deployed two appliances to the scene and left after ensuring the area was safe.
There were no reported casualties from the crash.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 5.18pm on Tuesday, January 2, to reports of a road traffic collision in Glasgow.
“Operations Control mobilised two appliances to the city’s Albert Drive, where firefighters worked to make the area safe before leaving the scene.
“There were no reported casualties.”
