Fire crews have extinguished a blaze at a derelict hospital in Dumfries.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called to a fire affecting the first floor of the old Nithbank Hospital at around 3pm on Thursday.
No one was injured as a result of the blaze.
The building has suffered repeated fire and vandalism incidents over recent years.
Police Scotland confirmed they assisted the SFRS and closed Lindsay Terrace in Dumfries to all traffic.
The road reopened on Thursday night.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 3.08pm on Thursday, September 18 to reports of a fire affecting the first floor of derelict building on Craigs Road, Dumfries.
“Operations Control mobilised three appliances to the scene.
“Crews left after making the area safe.”
