Fifteen-year-old boy stabbed at skate park in Milngavie Police Scotland

A 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital after being stabbed at a skate park in Milngavie, East Dunbartonshire, on Sunday.

The boy was transferred to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment following the attack in the town’s Lennox Park at around 6pm.

Police Scotland said it was following a positive line of enquiry.

“Around 6pm on Sunday, 14 June , 2020, a 15-year-old male youth was assaulted within the skate park area of Lennox Park, Milngavie,” Police Scotland said in a statement.

“He was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he is currently being treated for his injuries. Hospital staff describe his condition as stable.

“Police enquiries are continuing and they are following a positive line of enquiry,” the statement added.
