A pensioner has been traced after 24 hours missing following a public appeal by his family.
Hugh Baird, 85, was reported missing after last being seen in the vicinity of Clarion Crescent and Knightswood Park, Glasgow around 11am on Wednesday.
Members of the public were urged to check private CCTV and outhouses for any sign of him.
However, police have now confirmed the pensioner has been traced safe and well.
Launching the appeal inspector Singh had said: “Hugh is vulnerable and his family are very concerned for his welfare. I appeal to anyone who believes they may have seen Hugh to contact the police immediately.”
