Tributes have been paid to an “adored husband and father” who died in a crash involving a motorcycle and lorry on the A70.
Motorcyclist Graeme John Baillie died following the collision near Glespin, South Lanarkshire, at around 2.20pm on May, 8.
The incident involved a blue Suzuki motorbike and a red Volvo lorry.
Emergency services attended and the 37-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the HGV was uninjured.
Police said enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
His family released a tribute to Mr Baillie via Police Scotland, saying: “Graeme was an adored husband and father, and he leaves behind a broken-hearted family and many friends whose lives he touched on a daily basis.
“Many thanks to the road traffic police officers for their support.”
Constable Dougie Bryson said: “Our thoughts are with Mr Baillie’s family and friends at this difficult time. We’ll continue to liaise with them throughout our investigation.
“I’d like to thank everyone who has come forward with information to assist our enquiries.”
