The family of a woman killed in a motorbike crash at a roundabout in Argyll and Bute have been left “devastated and heartbroken”.
Candice Adam, from Dalry, died at the scene of the crash that happened at the A83 at the Kilmory Roundabout around 2.45pm on Sunday.
Ms Adam was riding a white Ducati motorcycle, which was riding with three other motorcyclists, when the crash happened.
The 29-year-old’s family has now released her name via Police Scotland over the “devastating” loss.
They said: “We are devastated and heartbroken at the loss of our beautiful, kind-hearted daughter Candice. She was such a unique and special girl.”
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Sergeant Archie McGuire said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the woman who died at this difficult time.
“Our enquiries into the crash are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident and has not already spoken to officers to please get in touch.
“I would also ask anyone who was driving in the area around that time and who may have dash cam footage or who may have seen the motorcycle prior to the crash to contact us.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 2085 of July 28, 2024.”
Eight people died over the weekend in traffic collisions across Scotland.
Shortly before the crash that killed Ms Adam, three people died in a crash involving two motorbikes on the A6088 in the Scottish Borders.
On Saturday, emergency services were called to the B7035 in South Ayrshire where the driver of a green Land Rover was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Friday, three men, aged 21, 23 and 24, were killed in a single car crash in Falkirk. The 20-year-old female driver was taken to hospital.
