'Extreme concern' for missing man last seen at city centre train station

An urgent search is under way for a 75-year-old man missing in Glasgow.

Alexander Marshall was reported missing from the Novar Drive area in the Westend at around 9.40am on Wednesday, 27 November.

He was last seen on CCTV at Argyle Street Station at approximately 12.25pm the same day.

He is described as around 5ft 8ins tall, of slim build, with short grey/white hair and a beard.

He was last seen wearing a grey jumper, brown gilet, blue jacket, blue jeans, brown shoes and a black hat.

Police Scotland sergeant Aimee Hunter said: “We are extremely concerned for Alexander’s wellbeing. Searches and enquiries are ongoing to trace him as soon as possible to ensure that he is safe and well.

“We urge anyone who has seen Alexander or who has any information regarding his whereabouts to contact 101 quoting reference number 101 of November 27.”
