LLRBLifeboat rescue teams in Loch Lomond were called out to two incidents on the West Highland Way in the space of 24 hours.
Police Scotland called on the volunteers to help a “fatigued” cyclist who had been on the trail for eight hours.
The boat was launched at around 7.50pm on Monday and teams were able to pick up the cyclist and take him over to the Ardlui marina where he was met by a family member.
They were called out again around 1.10pm on Tuesday to help the Scottish Ambulance Service with a man who had fallen on the trail and sustained head and leg injuries.
Loch Lomond National Park rangers were able to find the man before rescue teams arrived on the scene and were able to give him treatment.
The man was stretchered on to the boat and taken to Tarbet Pier to meet with paramedics.
He was then taken to hospital for further treatment.
