Euromillions winner urged to come forward for £57m prize

The winning lottery ticket, which was purchased in South Ayrshire, has not yet been claimed.

A winning lottery ticket worth £57m which was purchased in South Ayrshire has not yet been claimed.

The winning numbers 5, 7, 8, 16, 20, with lucky stars 2 and 12, were drawn in March 17th’s Euromillions.

The ticket is worth a whopping £57,869,670.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at the National Lottery, said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with this massive prize, which could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life.

“We’re urging everyone who might have bought a EuroMillions ticket in this area to check their old tickets or look for any missing tickets at home.

“In the current situation, rather than taking a trip to the shop to check your tickets, we’re encouraging everyone to check their numbers online via The National Lottery website or via The National Lottery App.

“While we are all trying to do the right thing by staying indoors at the moment, it’s a good opportunity to dig out and check those old lottery tickets.”

The ticket-holder has until Sunday September 13 to make their claim.

If no-one comes forward before the deadline, the prize money will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
