Fire crews are continuing to battle a blaze which broke out at a building in Glasgow. 

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were contacted around 5pm on Saturday following reports of a fire in the Belsyde Avenue and Boon Drive area of Drumchapel.

Four appliances were sent to the scene, with many firefighters continuing to battle the blaze as of 9pm on Saturday evening. 

It is currently unknown if anyone has been injured as a result of the blaze. 

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 5.06pm on Saturday, September 2 to reports of a building fire on Boon Drive, Glasgow.

“Operations Control mobilised four appliances and specialist resources to the scene. 

“Crews remain in attendance.”
