A major road in Ayrshire has been closed after a crash involving one vehicle on Wednesday morning.
Police were called to reports of the crash on the A77 near Kirkoswald at around 9am.
The road has been closed in both directions between Maybole and Turnberry as a result.
It is not yet known if there are any injuries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9am on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, officers were called to a report of a single vehicle crash on the A77 near Turnberry.
“Emergency services are in attendance and the road is currently closed.”
