An elderly woman is in a serious condition in hospital after being hit by a bus in Glasgow.
She was struck by the vehicle at Buchanan Bus Station in the city centre at around 3.45pm on Thursday afternoon.
Enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a bus colliding with an elderly woman at Buchanan Bus Station, Glasgow, around 3.45pm on Thursday, 7 October.
“Emergency services attended including the fire service and ambulance service.
“The woman has been taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and is believed to be in a serious condition.”
