A man who was seriously injured after being hit by a Mercedes in Glasgow has died in hospital.
Police Scotland confirmed an 86-year-old pedestrian, who was struck at around 5.20pm on Stamperland Crescent at the Clarkston Toll roundabout on Friday, May 17, died in hospital.
The man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries and died in hospital on Thursday, May 23.
No one else was injured in the incident and police said enquiries are ongoing.
Road Policing Sergeant Scott Gourlay said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the man who has died, and everyone involved.
“Enquiries are continuing to establish the full circumstanced and anyone who has not already spoken to officers and who can assist is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3034 of Friday, May 17, 2024.”
