A further eight people have been arrested and charged over the disorder following Celtic’s Premiership title win.

Four men, aged 55, 52, 22 and 19, have been arrested and charged in connection with offences including assault and culpable and reckless conduct.

They will appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court in due course.

Three male youths and one female youth have been charged in connection with culpable and reckless conduct and will be reported to the relevant authorities.

This brings the total number of arrests to 32, with others charged in connection with the disorder.

Celtic’s 3-1 win over Heart of Midlothian at Celtic Park on May 16 led to public disorder in both the Parkhead and Trongate areas of Glasgow.

Police have been carrying out extensive enquiries to identify those involved in the disorder and to establish any criminality.

A Major Incident Public Portal (MIPP) has been set up for the public to submit information, including photos or footage, relating to incidents at Parkhead or Trongate.

Anyone with information can contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting Operation Gristaline, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
