Drugs and motorbike seized during police raid as man charged

Drugs and an electric motorbike have been seized during a police raid in Glasgow.

Community officers from Easterhouse have carried out a search of an address in the Craigend area on Thursday.

The haul a large amount of cocaine and cannabis were recovered, along with a substantial sum of cash.

A high powered electric motorcycle was also seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act.

A 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged.

A police spokesperson said: “Community officers from Easterhouse have carried out a search of an address in the Craigend area of Glasgow.

“A large amount of cocaine and cannabis were recovered, along with a substantial sum of cash. A high powered electric motorcycle was also seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act.

“We won’t stop shutting down the drug dealers in your communities. A 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged.”
