A drug-smuggling social media influencer has been pictured at a music festival four months after she was jailed.

Ellie Crampsie was found to have over 17kg of cannabis, estimated to be worth around £150,000, stashed in her luggage as she travelled home from a holiday in Thailand last year.

The 23-year-old pled guilty to being concerned in the supply of cannabis to others when she appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on March 26.

Crampsie, from Broomhouse, who is prominent in the Glasgow nightlife and events scene, was jailed for 16 months.

Less than four months after she was sentenced, the influencer shared social media videos and pictures of herself at Colourfest dance music festival, which was held at the Braehead waterfront on August 15 and 16.

The post was the first to appear on her Instagram account since her sentencing in April.

The influencer returned to TikTok on August 9 and has since posted 25 videos.

STV News understands that Crampsie is still in the care of the Scottish Prison Service and has been released on Home Detention Curfew (HDC) and is therefore required to wear a tag.

According to the SPS website, a person on HDC is required to stay at an approved address during the night, the usual curfew is between 7.30pm and 7.30am, and comply fully with set licence conditions.

The first act at Colourfest took to the stage at 12pm, both days, with headliners finishing at 10pm.

A Scottish Prison Service spokesperson said: “We do not comment on individuals.

“We only release those in our care on a Home Detention Curfew after a careful and considered assessment of risk and with appropriate monitoring and restrictions in place.”

In October 2025, the Scottish Government passed an amendment to the HDC time periods, making short-term prisoners eligible for the scheme after serving 15% of their sentence rather than a quarter.

Crampsie would have been eligible after less than two and a half months behind bars.

The maximum curfew period was previously 180 days; however, following the amendment, it is 210 days.
