A drug dealer appeared in court with his parents and brother after a police raid on their family home.
Lewis Holmes, 24, was responsible for more than £25,000 of cannabis and cocaine found at the property in Glasgow’s Pollok.
Officers also seized £5,000 in cash and recovered drug paraphernalia.
Holmes pleaded guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to being concerned in the supply of cannabis and cocaine.
He had been initially joined in the dock by dad George Holmes Sr, 65, mum Nannet Holmes, 63 and 25-year-old brother George Jr.
They had their not guilty pleas accepted by the Crown.
The court heard that police raided the Holmes’ property and found drugs in “open view.”
George Sr and Nannet Holmes were initially detained by the police as a search was carried out of their home.
The majority of the drugs seized were found in Lewis Holmes’ bedroom.
Prosecutor Ross Canning added: “No attempts were made to obscure or hide them.
“The drugs which were taken from large bin bags were clearly visible.”
Mr Canning stated that a total of £23,470 worth of cannabis was recovered while there was £2,450 of cocaine seized.
The cash total found was £5,1110.
Lewis Holmes was initially unable to be traced.
Garvey McArdle, defending, told the court: “The seriousness of this matter is not lost on him.
“His co-accused are his mother, father and brother.
“He tried to do the right thing as far as he is concerned.”
Sentence was deferred pending background reports until next month by Sheriff Paul Reid who granted Lewis Holmes bail meantime.
