Drivers told to expect delays on M8 following crash during rush hour

Drivers have been told to expect delays on the M8 after a crash during rush hour on Thursday.

The incident occurred near Glasgow Airport at Junction 27, blocking lane 3 heading eastbound at around 7am.

Emergency services were called to the scene and the lane has since reopened.

However, Traffic Scotland has warned road users that delays of up to 20 minutes are still expected.

It is not known whether anyone was injured in the collision.
