Motorway lane restricted following crash near Glasgow Airport

Drivers have been warned of delays on the M8 after a crash near Glasgow Airport has restricted one lane of the motorway.

Traffic Scotland confirmed one lane at junction 29 to 28a heading east was restricted due to a collision, with drivers urged to approach with caution.

Police Scotland are said to be aware of the crash after 10.40am on Friday.

A Traffic Scotland post read: “Due to a road traffic collision the M8 eastbound junction 28 (Glasgow Airport) lane 3 of 3 is restricted.

“Road users should approach with caution and expect delays.”

Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
