Drivers face 55-mile diversion as A82 closed due to collision

Drivers faced an almost 55-mile diversion after the A82 was closed in both directions following a crash near Tyndrum.

Emergency services were alerted to the crash around 11am on Saturday morning.

Due to the location of the crash, a 54.4 mile diversion was put in place for motorists, who have been warned to expect delays to their journey.

🚑Emergency services are in attendance.

Around 1pm, Traffic Scotland confirmed the road had been cleared and the A82 was open as normal.

Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
