Police are appealing for information after a driver was left in hospital following a hit and run in Argyll and Bute.

On Friday, May 19, a crash occurred between a grey coloured Citroen and a Dacia at around 6.15pm on the A819 Dalmally near to the junction with the A85.

The Citroen vehicle left the scene and the driver of the Dacia was taken to Oban Hospital for treatment.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.

Constable Stuart Campbell said: “Our enquiries into this crash are ongoing and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or who was in the area at the time and may have dash cam footage which could assist to get in touch.”
