Two people have been taken to hospital after a bus mounted the pavement and crashed in Renfrewshire.
Police, ambulance and fire crews were called to Craigton Drive in Dargavel Village in Bishopton around 2.40pm on Friday.
Images from the scene showed a McGills bus that had mounted the pavement and crashed.
The bus company confirmed one passenger and the driver have been taken to hospital for further examination.
They say no pedestrians or other vehicles were affected, and an investigation into the incident is under way.
A spokesperson for McGill’s Buses said: “We can confirm one of our vehicles left the road earlier today whilst in service around Dargavel Village at Bishopton.
“Emergency services attended the incident and one passenger, and the driver, have been taken to hospital for further examination. No pedestrians or other vehicles were affected.
“An investigation is now underway to establish the cause of the incident.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.40pm on Friday, June 6, we received a report of a crash involving a bus on Craigton Drive, Bishopton.
“Scottish Ambulance Service are in attendance.”
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and the Scottish Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
